CT4 explosion-proof rating is a safety standard in explosion-proof equipment, with the following core features:

grade definition
CT4 belongs to the Class C explosion-proof level in explosion-proof equipment, with an explosion-proof temperature group of T4 and a maximum equipment surface temperature not exceeding 135 ℃.

protection grade
Protection level: CT4 has a higher protection level than BT4, manifested in stronger dust (IP65) and water resistance (preventing liquids from entering) capabilities.

Working temperature range: CT4 is suitable for environments ranging from -5 ° C to+40 ° C, while BT4 allows a temperature range of -5 ° C to+50 ° C.

Applicable gas
BT4 is mainly suitable for common gases such as methane, ethane, petroleum, hydrogen sulfide, etc.
CT4 can cover a wider range of gases, including special gases such as CT1 grade hydrogen, CT2 grade acetylene, and CT4 grade carbon disulfide.

Dangerous area
BT4 is suitable for Zone 2 gas hazardous areas (where explosive gases exist but the gas concentration is below the lower explosive limit).
